No two clients are the same – it’s one of the reasons we love what we do. With our fair pricing structure, you only pay for the level of service that’s right for you.

Whether you have a large sum to start with or want to put a little away each month, our commitment to you is the same, and our fee structure reflects that. 


Pay for what you need, never more

Charging everyone the same for different levels of work just doesn’t seem right to us. We’ve broken our cost process into four separate stages, so we can tailor our charges exactly to your requirements. You’re free to leave at any time, with no exit fee.*

*IM Wealth Management will not charge any exit fees. There may be fees chargeable by the investment manager and we will do everything in our power to ensure that our clients are aware of these before they invest.

If it’s a match and you want to proceed, we’ll progress to the next stage. If not, there’s no charge.

02 - Financial Planning

This meeting is charged at a fixed fee, because understanding your attitude to risk and building a risk profile takes the same time irrespective of the size of the assets involved.

We also believe a fixed fee is more appropriate to this stage – it means we can offer professional impartial advice, which is not contingent on whether you invest. If we were to charge a percentage fee from the start, we would become more like salespeople than trusted advisors.

What happens after this meeting?

After this meeting we’ll have a financial plan in place for you – but there’s no obligation to go any further. If you don’t want us to implement this plan, there’s only the cost of this planning exercise to pay. 

03 - Implementation Fee

At this point we put your personal plan into action. The exact nature of the work will vary depending on what’s been agreed in the financial planning exercise.

The implementation fee reflects this – we calculate the work we need to undertake to implement your plan and we agree a fee with you in advance, before incurring any cost.

We charge a fixed fee agreed with you in advance. The cost will reflect the specific work involved

What happens after this meeting?

Once your plan’s up and running, we would want to monitor and maintain it – this is covered in the maintenance fee. 

However, if you’re happy that your account does not need this ongoing attention, you won’t be subject to the maintenance fee. After the Financial Planning fee, you’ll pay the implementation fee only. 

04 - Ongoing Maintenance Fee

If you feel your account needs ongoing maintenance, we’ll work out a maintenance fee to ensure your money keeps working as hard as possible for you. This will be agreed with you in advance and will correlate to the work and costs required for your account.

This is a percentage cost rather than a fixed fee because the costs of managing your portfolio are percentage-based.

What happens now?

With your account up and running and the agreed fees in place, we’ll continue to monitor your portfolio against the market activity and keep you informed at every stage.

We try to make ourselves available to you whenever you need, so you always know your money is working for you in the best way possible. We operate an open-door service policy for your peace of mind – and as all the fees have been agreed upfront, there are no extra charges hidden down the line.
